Every year, we as teachers will be faced with creating a plan of strategy to teach a brand new class of students, who will all have different home lives, different cultures, different backgrounds, different needs, and different learning styles. While the task may seem overwhelming, it is important for us to get to know our students and adapt our lessons so that they can be successful learners. Below is a checklist of different learning characteristics to look for, as well as a few weblinks where some online surveys for learning styles and mutiple intelligences can be found.
